About Me
I put AI systems into production and keep them there. A vision system deciding who gets through a secured door. A speech-to-text โ LLM โ speech loop that has to answer before a person notices the gap. An agent that assembles our engineering reports and cites its evidence. Not demos โ things other people now depend on.
The reason I can be trusted with that is the thirteen years underneath it. I've owned a high-throughput platform that predated me by eight years and never stopped running, moved a live production database onto new infrastructure with ten seconds of downtime, and I'm currently architecting a ground-up rebuild of an enterprise B2B platform as Tech Lead at WebOccult Technologies.
Most of my work has been close to the people using it โ four years embedded with a product group in Portugal, a deployment on a customer site in Japan, enterprise workflows I had to understand properly before I could model them. I think that's the interesting part of the job. I also speak at Laravel Rajkot and Laravel Ahmedabad meetups.
Selected Work
Led engineering for an access-control system on a customer site in Japan โ an in-house vision API deciding who may pass through a secured door, and commercial lock hardware that had never heard of it. The model was the easy half. A vision model returns a confidence score and a lock needs a yes or no, and the yes is physical and irreversible. Where that threshold sits, and how it fails when the camera is dazzled or the network drops, is the actual system.
Ran daily in production, on a site I had no control over
Built a Claude Code workflow that assembles our engineering status reports from the tools that already hold the truth โ the issue tracker and the repositories โ attaching evidence to every line it writes. The design question was which judgments stayed with a human โ the agent gathers and drafts, people decide.
Most of a day of manual collation down to well under an hour, every claim traceable
Delivered a companion robot prototype running a speech-to-text โ LLM โ text-to-speech loop. Latency is the whole product here: a pause that would be unremarkable in a chat window is a broken conversation when someone is speaking out loud to a machine.
A production database had outgrown the host it shared with other services and started starving them of memory. Moved it to dedicated infrastructure via replica-set promotion with a scripted cutover: quiesce writers, verify sync, promote secondary, rotate credentials, restart.
Ten seconds of unplanned downtime, inside a single planned window
An eight-year-old platform was built on the premise that the identifiers it received from upstream were stable. They stopped being stable, so records that were one thing started arriving as several. Rather than rebuild, I added a content hash over the attributes that actually identify a record as a fallback key, checked only when the primary ID misses โ fixing integrity without breaking existing API contracts.
Integrity restored without breaking a single published contract
I owned a high-throughput fetching platform โ hundreds of thousands of jobs a day across a few hundred workers โ and its core was the bottleneck. Migrated the core scraper from Python to Go and rolled the rewrite into the live system.

Technical Skills
Experience
WebOccult Technologies, Ahmedabad
Lead a small cross-functional team and own end-to-end architecture for a ground-up rebuild of an enterprise B2B platform โ domain and data model, multi-tenancy, API contracts, CI/CD, deployment topology. Also led engineering for the vision access-control deployment and the voice prototype, brought Grafana and Prometheus observability to our on-premise estate, and built the agent workflows the team reports through.
Enstead, Remote
Embedded with a Portugal-based product group as hands-on technical lead, moving across products as delivery priorities required. Architected a remote-support platform combining ticketing, real-time chat, video and on-call augmented reality โ letting customers resolve equipment issues without dispatching a field engineer. Migrated MySQL to PostgreSQL and owned cross-platform API design.
Improwised Technologies, Rajkot
Owned a high-throughput fetching platform that predated me by eight years and never stopped running. Redesigned its identity model after upstream assumptions broke, and rewrote the core from Python to Go inside the live system.
DevRepublic, Ahmedabad
Led Laravel development for a social platform with integrated video chat. Built a Vue.js gift editor with server-side banner-resolution image generation.
CodeGeeks, Rajkot
Founded an independent software practice. Built e-commerce platforms, examination systems, and payment integrations.
Canvass, Mumbai
Worked on all-in-one marketing platform โ drip campaigns, email editor, themes, and HTML email uploads.
Improwised Technologies, Rajkot
First engineering role, later returning to the company as Tech Lead in 2019.
